I used Lidil flour once, until I discovered that it is not all flour, and the taste is massively inferior.
If you want to make good bread then you use good quality flour, otherwise you are making nothing better than the Tesco Value Bread at pennies per loaf.
The flour I use is expensive, but taste and texture is excellent in comparrison. I didn't come to that conclusion just by being a flour snob, I used the same recipe for many different flours before I picked the one that I use now. Locally milled, no bulking agents, plenty of choice and delivered to my door.
