Sausage Making Course

Postby Fatman » Fri Sep 24, 2004 5:16 pm

Dear All & Franco

Can I suggest for the foolhardy that we run our own sausage making course?

My local pub www.hoptonarms.co.uk has accomodation and is willing to lend itself and its facilities for such a course.

They are also willing to include the best results on their restaurant menu.

This course could give us the opportunity to meet and discuss methods and also see Franco's equipment in action.

For interest my local was once the village abbotoir.

I think you would be better just using this forum to make sausage via correspondence, as the source of information is very valuable from so many members.

I do wish you good luck and I will be one of those members who will contribute to any of your questions.

There are no dates set as yet, as it was only an idea to see if they was enough interest to set a course up.

Just looked in on this. Depending on the circumstances I'd be interested in a course. I'll keep an eye out for any more developments and hopefully things will come to fruition.

Check out www.essexpigcompany.co.uk maybe you can visit his farm and pick up on any tips!

Lets hope we can get it off the ground , but I think it's safe to say if it happens it will be in the spring of next year.

Would be good if you could get something sorted. I've got family commitments so it would depend on arrangements at home, but hopefully I would be able to get there.
