yes it was served hot but the leftovers will be sliced thin for cold meat sammies.

Can you tell me more about the smoker. I think that electric would probably be easier for me. I currently use gas.

I'll give you a report in the morning. Its a Smoke hollow brand I picked it up at Gander Mountain about a month ago. It was on sale for $99

its a masterbuilt electric smoke (MES)

it stainless inside and painted steel outside , there is about a 1 inch air space between the inside and out side boxes.

the heating element runs around the bottom

the wood box sits directly in contact with the element, the water pan sits a few inches above

control is by a rheostat

the box is 17 inches wide, 15 inches deep and 3 feet tall and sit on 12 inch legs. I though it was a deal for $99 about 73 euro

Excellent set up, any idea what the the wattage of the element is?
