Ribeye with Loaded Potato Skins, Stuffed Mushrooms

Postby Vindii » Mon Jun 20, 2011 2:41 am

This was for a throwdown contest on another forum. I finished 2nd.

Ribeye with Loaded Potato Skins, Stuffed Mushrooms, Sautéed Mushrooms and Onions, and Garlic Bread

Prep for tator skins and onions and shrooms

Image

Kegged the taters for an hour then removed the insides. Brushed with oil and cooked for 8 minutes.

Image

Pulled them out and loaded them up with pulled pork, jalapenos, bacon, onions, cheese and back on to cook for 8 minutes more. Mushrooms and onions went on the other keg with the stuffed mushrooms.

Throwdown pic. I liked it because it had a bit of the fire.

The contest is voted online just by the photo. The green stuff is just for color. Makes the pics pop more.

Token it is!

Thanks for the comments guys. It really was a great meal.

Since I joined these sausageforums, I have to admit that every time
I see these photo's, I am just plain hungry and just want to eat.
Is there something wrong with me? Did I catch a bug of some sorts?
I could eat 2 plates of the above goodies and finish it up with a couple of good Ozzie beers.
BURP!!!!!!!!
