These Alaskan sausages are my favorite - http://www.americanpridefoods.com/alaskan-buffalo-sausage-with-jalapeno-cheese/

Apocalypse Now

Postby Bangerboy » Sat Sep 24, 2011 5:14 pm

Hi all.
I have to say as well as being a sausage fiend I'm also a chilli one. So when I saw the apocalypse now hit Francos site I had to buy it. That particular chilli (naga I believe ) is expensive so the higher cost wasn't a worry.
I followed the quantities and made a batch. I ate 3 and had to stop to drink 6 pints of strong Vimto before the pain died down.

My brother in law and his uncle and cousins heard about this and wanted some. They all class themselves as top men when it comes to consuming hot foods.

The results where as follows -

1. Brother in law- he ate a 2 sausage sandwich whilst having a chat with his Mum. He can't remember the conversation as after consuming half of the sandwich and after losing his powers of speech, claims to have started sweating profusly and mildly hallucinating before almost passing out.

2. The cousin- a curry master who has been on curry making courses and claims to have eaten the worlds hottest curry. He tried one of these devils at a barbecue and had to go home!!

3. The Uncle- also consumed at the same barbecue 2 of the sausages. His body didn't wait until the next morning to give him as Johnny Cash sang 'a burning ring of fire'. This gave him a few problems as he needed to go quite a few times and the excessive abuse that all the (sorry) wiping had resulted in some (sorry again) bleeding fissures opening up, which caused him a trip to the doctors. Lol

Safe to say that these are hot ones. My Brother in law summed it up perfectly when he said that they were 'forged in Hell'.
