I got a Food Industries Manual on there recently for 70 pence. They cost a fortune new.

Wow, the Culinary Institute one is quite an expensive book I think.

Hmmm...I collect sausagemaking, meat curing and butchering books.

I search Abebooks all the time, I can't remember finding good books that low.

I love it when I find a book for less than the cost of shipping, or a fraction of what it sells for, new.

I'm always puzzled, though, by the places that are selling a used book that is still in print, at a price many times its current price, new.

ETA: chix-boy, please let us know what you think of the Soho book. I've never seen that one mentioned, before.
