Vacuum Packing Machine for air dried meat and sausage

Postby spudarmstrong » Wed Jan 09, 2013 11:31 am

I'm in the process of starting up a business here in the UK and need to seal my biltong (similar to beef jerky) and dried sausage. What would be the best machine to get. The packaging needs to be clear. I have done some research and I think that a chamber machine is going to be the best option. I would appreciate any help and suggestions.

Welcome.

I think that a chamber machine would be essential for commercial production of any size and make sure that it has the capacity to deal with your anticipated throughput for the next couple of years at the least.

Sorry, I'm just a hobbyist so cannot advise on professional equipment from personal experience but there are others around who may pop up to help. What country do you live in as any recommendations that are forthcoming are likely to be region specific?
