I am trying to set up a temperature controller for my fermentation chamber. I have ordered this PID from Amazon (USA).
http://www.amazon.com/Digital-Display-T ... controllerand this thermocouple
http://www.amazon.com/Amico-Sensor-Temp ... m_indust_1and this solid state relay
http://www.amazon.com/Amico-SSR-25DA-Te ... m_indust_2Does anyone have a wiring diagram for a setup like this? I have not received the PID yet but I have received the thermocouple and it has no instructions at all as to what lead goes where! It has three leads; a red one, a blue one, and a yellow one but I have no clue as to what does what. I plan on using this in a small walk-in cooler to control a very small space heater during the fermentation period. Help
Thanks......

Thank-you for the information Gary. I see that the thermocouple goes to terminals 8,9, and 10 but I still don't know what color wire goes to which terminal. I will ohm out the thermocouple and see if it makes any sense.
Thanks again.

http://www.amazon.com/review/R2H8M2TP69 ... deID=&tag=Try this link, I have found in the past that if you purchase anything from Amazon it is well worth looking at the reviews as people take time and trouble to report back problems etc, I have really benefited from these with Android phones etc that I have purchased.
Regards Gary.
