Strammermax

Postby Fatman » Mon Jan 17, 2005 8:36 pm

Another first today, my wife who is German made me breakfast as all good wifes do (only joking) but today she served me "Strammermax" which is a sandwich.

It goes like this:- Toast bread of your choice and butter, place thin slices of ham on one side with black pudding topped with fried eggs.

Try it and tell me your opinion

Regards

I had it with German Rye bread ( YUK ) fried bread would of done me, then came the Ham, German smoked thinly sliced, in fact it was from the Black Forest ( not a fan of smoked products). Streaky bacon sounds better, then came the Black Pudding that awful stuff you slice in a plastic skin, Bury puddings from Lancashire used to be the best in the world but now I'm partial to French Boudin Noir or German Blutenwurst/Rotwurst. The eggs well they were eggs, free range of course.

Sorry to go on but she gave it me again today!!
