Patties

Hi chaps, probably a dirty word here but are patties a big no no, I find the stuffing of the sausages a bit stressful so wondered why I don't just make patties plus the grandchildren prefer them ... any thoughts please ?

There's nothing wrong with patties, I make them all the time. These are what I use to form them:

One place they come in handy is at the end of stuffing. I often find I'm out of casing but not out of meat. There are some sausages I just pack out in bulk.
Fashionably late will be stylishly hungry.
